• Pre-trip (1–2 weeks before): medical history review, pre-op studies coordination (labs, imaging), anesthesia clearance, video consultation scheduling with your surgeon, step-by-step instructions
• Flight planning: we research 2–3 options from your origin city optimized for your medical schedule (arrival before the night before surgery, departure after your final follow-up). You book directly with the airline — Wellum charges no markup or commission on flights.
• Arrival and logistics: private vehicle pickup at airport, check-in at your accommodation, welcome briefing, hospital ↔ hotel/recovery house transport for every appointment
• Active bilingual support: real-time translation during consultations, surgery day, and every communication with your medical team (not Google Translate — in-person coordinator)
• Hospital concierge: coordinated admissions, your presence in pre-op area, family liaison during surgery, discharge management
• Recovery in Guadalajara: daily visits (recovery house) or virtual check-ins (hotel), lymphatic drainage/PT scheduling, pharmacy coordination, emergency management
• Discharge and document handoff: compiled medical file (op report, post-op instructions, prescriptions in English), airport drop-off, travel kit
• Bilingual 24/7 helpline: available throughout your stay for any concern or emergency
